Happy Bieber Day!

Hi everyone,

Check out this article that I wrote for the Business Flannel website on Justin Bieber's birthday.  Hopefully there is more to come in the future!

Quack Attack is Back, Jack

Okay, after a long hiatus, I finally have the time to start updating this blog again. Grad school applications are done, my stressful first few months of living back in Princeton is done, all of that is done, and now, I have time to write again! How exciting. It is also convenient timing, as I will be spending most of my weekends in March flying across these god-blessed United States of America, visiting grad schools. This means that I will have many travails to recount, and hopefully cool pictures.

Two things that I wanted to quickly discuss in this entry--since the weather has inexplicably warmed up a bit, I decided that I would start walking back and forth to work if it was warm enough. Why not walk, listen to some music, enjoy the weather, and burn off some of those hot pockets that have been making up 50% of my meals. On my first walk, a group of middle school students from the Esteemed John Witherspoon Middle School honest to god reached out and tried to touch me. Have they never seen a young adult walking down the street before?

Additionally, I was in the bathroom the other day taking a poop. I was just minding my own business, playing Words with Friends and sending a text message. All of the sudden, this guy sits down in the stall next to me, and starts pooping himself. So far, this is totally normal--not weird at all. That is, until the man starts making these absurd grunting noises. I have never in my life had such a hard time with a poop that I started audibly struggling in a public bathroom. What is it with these people? You can see my shoes in the stall next to you. You know I'm there. You can't hide behind the thin barrier separating us forever. Show some restraint.

Okay, I'm done. Just wanted to get back into the habit of writing. Updates soon.

Every Now and Then I Fall Apart (or Just Don't Update My Blog)

Everytime I think that I have finally finished the thing that will give me copious amounts of free time to write here, the next time consuming thing appears. I am currently in the midst of graduate school applications, which are eating me alive. In any case, I have started tweeting, which is good in that I can get out my little quips and quick updates without feeling the societal pressure of good punctuation and sentence structure that blogspot imposes on all of us. Out of Touch

I have become increasingly bad at updating this blog, mainly because I have been busy, depressed, writing a musical, and studying for the physics GRE.  But I thought I would just pop in to let you know that today, a musical I am writing was simultaneously compared to the following four things:

How is that possible?
